Built for the Brisbane engineering scene
Brisbane is in the middle of a once-in-a-generation build-out, and software is threaded through all of it. The 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games have catalysed more than $20 billion of infrastructure spending — Cross River Rail, Brisbane Metro, Queens Wharf, the Gabba — and every one of those programs runs on engineering teams shipping scheduling, logistics, digital-twin and asset-management software. Brisbane's developer market is growing as fast as its skyline, and those teams need to adopt AI-assisted engineering without slowing delivery.
Beyond the Olympic infrastructure work, Brisbane's tech ecosystem has genuinely matured. The Fortitude Valley startup cluster around the old River City Labs scene, the deep-tech and research engineering coming out of UQ, QUT and Griffith, and a growing base of B2B SaaS firms in Newstead and the inner city mean there is real demand for a structured AI-engineering curriculum.
