Brisbane has gone from "branch office town" to genuine product hub in less than a decade. The cluster of tech teams in Fortitude Valley and Newstead — from Tritium and Octopus Deploy to a growing tail of well-funded scale-ups — means there are now serious software engineering jobs that don't require relocating to Sydney or Melbourne. Claude Code adoption in Brisbane is moving fast because teams here are nimble, cost-conscious and unafraid to try new tooling.

The 2032 Olympics is also reshaping demand. Questions about the Brisbane workshop

How much does the Claude Code workshop in Brisbane cost?
A seat is A$1,295 (incl. GST) and includes the full classroom day, morning tea and lunch, all materials, take-home Claude Code templates, and 30 days of post-workshop email support. Groups of 3+ from the same team pay A$995 per seat. We also run private team workshops on request.
What should I bring on the day?
Bring a laptop (Mac or Windows), a power cable, and any code projects you'd like to work on during the labs. We'll send you a setup guide a week beforehand so Claude Code is installed and ready before you arrive. No prior Claude experience required.
What is the refund policy?
Full refund up to 14 days before the workshop. Within 14 days we'll either transfer your seat to a later date or refund 50%. If we cancel due to low numbers you get a full refund or free transfer to another city.
Are there prerequisites for the Brisbane workshop?
Basic familiarity with a programming language and the command line is helpful, but the workshop is designed for all experience levels. We've trained everyone from Brisbane junior devs to staff engineers at established Queensland teams.
Can we book the whole classroom for our Brisbane team?
Yes — private team workshops are popular with Brisbane SaaS and government-adjacent teams. We'll come to your Fortitude Valley, Newstead, South Brisbane or CBD office and tailor the day around your stack. Contact us with team size and preferred date.
