Why Adelaide

Claude Code for the Adelaide dev scene

Adelaide is one of Australia's most interesting markets for agentic coding right now. The Lot Fourteen innovation precinct on North Terrace anchors a dense cluster of defence, space and cyber-tech startups — many of whom are already experimenting with Claude Code on classified-adjacent tooling. Pair that with the established software teams in the CBD around King William Street and the growing tech presence in Norwood and Hyde Park, and you have a city that punches well above its weight when it comes to AI adoption.

The big Adelaide stories shaping demand for this workshop: AUKUS-driven defence software work at Osborne and Edinburgh, the wine-tech and agtech crews working with the Barossa and McLaren Vale producers, and the steady stream of fintech and SaaS teams who've relocated from the eastern seaboard for the lower cost base. All of these teams are asking the same question: how do we use Claude Code without compromising governance, IP, or quality?

This workshop is the answer. We run it in Adelaide CBD — walkable from the Adelaide Railway Station and a short ride from Glenelg, Prospect or the Hills — so you can spend the day deep in the labs and head home that evening. Whether you're shipping a defence-grade C++ codebase, refactoring a Rails monolith, or building Next.js apps for a local agency, you'll leave with workflows tailored to your stack.
